The Greiffenberg question is one of the central genealogical and historical lines of the Mensur project.
This research area concerns the Greiffenberg / von Greiffenberg line, its Austrian and German context, its documentary traces, and its connection with the broader family tradition.
Future work will focus on archival reconstruction, chronology, naming variants, territorial context and the relationship between documentary evidence and inherited memory.
