Introducing Mensur
Mensur is the first public form of the Weissmann–Greiffenberg Institute Project.
The project arises from the convergence of two noble family traditions rooted in Central Europe: Prussia, Germany, Austria and the Alpine–Northern Italian world.
The name Mensur refers to the Central European tradition of academic fencing: a discipline of measure, distance, composure and form. In the context of this project, it becomes a symbol of continuity, dignity and intellectual formation.
Mensur is not intended as a monument to one person. It is conceived as a platform for preservation, study and transmission: a future association or foundation devoted to lineage, nobility, Jewish aristocratic memory, genealogy, symbolism, Western esotericism, European identity and legal thought.
It will grow through articles, research notes, bibliographic entries, archival references and public intellectual work.
